Five for Friday Time!

This is the one post I look forward to writing each week because it means the weekend has finally arrived! Make sure to join in the fun and link up your week too!

1. This week we got into the St. Patty spirit and started making our leprechauns. After my kiddos made their leprechaun, they wrote about how they would design a trap to protect their gold. It was so cute to read about all their creative inventions.

2. We also made our own pots of gold. We wrote about who was worth more than gold to us. Thank you to the Teacher Wife for this great freebie.

3.We also began making our beginning, middle and end books to go with the story Jamie O'Rourke and the Big Potato. Here is a pic of the cover.

4. I pulled up this YouTube video, of the same book, that I played for the kids. They loved watching the book come to life.

5. My sweet friend Aimee and I are hosting an Are You Feeling Lucky giveaway right now. It ends tonight at midnight so head on over and enter if you haven't already. Winners will be announced tomorrow morning.
Now, if that is not enough St. Patty spirit to get you in the mood, I don't know what is! Have a great evening!

  2. I love reading about bloggers using books I actually have! I mean, I love an excuse to go buy a new book but when I see one I recognize I get jazzed!

That is the cutest book cover, btw.
